As a parent, it can be difficult to truly understand what your teen is going through. You may sense that something is bothering them but find it hard to identify exactly what it is. This uncertainty can leave you feeling powerless. While you might question whether your child needs help, reaching out for support can often feel overwhelming, especially when traditional large-scale services seem too impersonal or complicated.​


Therefore, Groei Pedagoog offers accessible support for teens aged 13 and older. Whether it concerns uncertainty about school, emotions, or difficult situations. Teens can easily connect via their smartphone with a pedagogue to talk about what is on their mind, without it feeling heavy or complicated.

How does it work?

The weekly mini-sessions are short 20-minute video calls via an app. They are guided to identify, comprehend, and articulate their emotions effectively. This process not only promotes mental calmness but also enhances their resilience. In between, children can also chat with me as pedagogue, if they have concerns or just want to share something. This way they receive support at the right moment without having to wait until the next appointment.

As a parent, you will receive an overview of scheduled sessions and a brief update after each one. You can always reach out via chat for advice or coordination. After every month, we schedule a progress meeting to stay in touch and monitor the child’s development and progress.

Monthly package
Weekly check-ins with a pedagogue help children gain more control over their thoughts and emotions, while also strengthening their support system. For many teens, it feels easier to talk to someone outside the family, who’s professional, approachable, and always there when something’s on their mind.
